I’ve been trying to pick a 2012 presidential candidate ’cause I gotta do my part and vote for someone. There’s nobody that stands out to me, so rather than writing in “Chuck Norris” on the ballot, I’m going to go about this scientifically.
Newt Gingrich
Cadillac Escalade
4×4 Suburban (previous)
This tells me he likes to have the appearance of being secure and imposing. Large and in charge. Unfortunately, it makes him just like everyone else who drives a big luxury barge around. Too much following, not enough leading.

President Barack Obama
Ford Escape Hybrid
Yechh… jumping on the hybrid bandwagon. Sure, the “experts” like these things, and they sound efficient, but what will the environmental toll be when there’s millions of them in junkyards with unrepairable toxic batteries and obsolete electronics? If you want something that gets 40mpg, don’t buy an SUV! Definitely a political statement, not an automobile that makes sense.

Ron Paul
1996 Buick LeSabre
Nash Rambler (first car)
Hmm, this choice seems old fashioned and comforting, kinda like when Mister Rogers would put on that red cardigan sweater every week. It’s eccentric, but not eccentric enough to bring alarm. I was hoping he’d drive a Saab, just to match his aura. He used to have a Nash Rambler; close enough I suppose.

Mitt Romney
2005 Ford Mustang GT convertible
1962 Rambler American
considering purchase of a ’50s Corvette
Ahh, a CAR GUY! Very classic and American, he is. Aggressive, powerful, yet a bit conservative and even nostalgic. If I could get past his Mormon-ness, I’d be cool with this.

Rick Santorum
nobody knows… anybody have leads on what he drives? I’m gonna take a guess and say a late-model Taurus with all the options. I’m probably hilariously wrong. It’s gotta be something traditional, conservative, and American.
Wow, this is a hard choice. Knee-jerk reaction is Romney, but being a car guy does not necessarily a good leader make. Wish I knew what Santorum drives. Really wish that Chuck Norris was running; Dodge Ram would fit the bill. Really, really wish that there was just an obvious candidate who will serve God, allowing Him to guide his decisions and influence his politics.
If anyone has comments, I’d love to hear them. In the meantime, I’ll be praying the following verse:
The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will. Proverbs 21:1 KJV
Micah, this was hilarious !!! Really u should vote for Ron Paul. He is the only one that tells us the truth about our country. He is the only one worthy of being the Pesident of the United States !!!! You should really check into him. With having a husband in the military I believe Ron Paul is the only one that will not lead our troops into an endless blood bath of a war!! Please look how the media want to pretend that Ron Paul isnt a candidate! He has my vote =)
Decent posting, I am viewing back usually to look for fresh news.
